1928 “Frankie” Resonator Ukulele
…”Frankie”, National number 173, produced between early 1928 to mid-1931 by National String Intrument. The company, formed by luthier and resonator inventor John Dopyera and steel guitar player George Beauchamp, switched to a narrower bodied uke beginning thereafter
